Supplies for Making the Drawings:

India ink
• a pad of Strathmore 400 Series drawing paper (we will be drawing A LOT!)
Tjanting Tool: Be sure to get the small tip.
Brushes of various sizes, watercolor brushes work well (I use sizes 0-4 a lot)
Bamboo pen
Micron Pens
• Small sticks from your yard or walks
Small set of gouache. I use the 12 color set. I’m including the less expensive smaller set as another option too… or you can simply use watercolors (though white gouache is important!).
• optional: gold acrylic paint for small details
• To cut down paper to smaller sizes: a metal ruler, cutting mat and Exacto or Olfa Knife (OR, a paper cutter)

• 2-3 small containers with lids for india ink
