The Forums are now open! Participation is completely optional but can be the best way to stay connected with the material and each other. We’ve gotten feedback over the years that ours are some of the nicest forums around, so please join in if you can!

Our main group is at Facebook, but there is a small group for those not on Facebook who can interact via Padlet. (Please just choose one forum to post in to avoid double postings.) Here are the links… for FB, ask to join and we will get you in asap!

Supply List

These are the supplies that I use myself, and links are provided for your convenience. However, Please always feel free to substitute items with supplies you already have in your studio! — Carla

• Two 22″x30″ sheets of a paper substrate. (I like Rives BFK Printmaking Paper or Fabriano Artistico 140# Hot Press, but Bristol board or any brand of watercolor paper will work!. We will cut these down to at least three 6″x8″ sheets and at least six 8.5″x11″ sheets.)

• acrylic paints

• acrylic paint markers, various colors (I like this Grabie brand)

• Black brush pen (I use either this permanent one or this water-soluble one)

• fine black permanent pen (I like a Micron .08)

• white paint marker (I like this Grabie brand)

• India ink

• a few paintbrushes

• a selection of thinner-weight papers like lined notebook paper, rice paper, newsprint, etc. (we will draw on these and use as collage)

• a pet book or a gardening book from the thrift store (we will cut out as collage and also alter photographs)

• ballpoint pen, colored pencils, markers you like to use

• crayons (can be wax or water soluble)

• scissors & glue stick
